Our Services

Hospice/Euthanasia

Stanton Animal Hospital offers hospice and euthanasia services to pet owners in Fayetteville, Springdale, Elkins and the surrounding communities. Having a terminally ill pet is never easy. When all treatment options have been exhausted, our goal at Stanton Animal Hospital is to provide hospice care that focuses on improving the quality of life, making the patient comfortable and pain free while giving the family time with their beloved pet before saying goodbye.

Our sympathetic doctors help animals experience terminal illness and the dying process with dignity. While it is never easy to say goodbye to your faithful companion, we do everything we can to make the process of euthanasia as peaceful as can be. Our veterinarians have hand-chosen medications that are painless and induce pets to drift off into a peaceful and permanent sleep.

Stanton Animal Hospital uses Sunset Crematory to make provisions for your pet’s remains in a compassionate and respectful manner. To help you preserve the memory of your steadfast friend, they provide cedar boxes, special urns, and your pet’s paw print preserved in ink or clay if you wish to have a memoriam keepsake. Please ask about this service if you are interested.

Before you struggle through one more day with a sick, elderly, or terminally ill pet that is suffering, call us at Stanton Animal Hospital to learn how we can help you through this difficult time.
